As this Friday on conference tournament mayhem continues on, I want to give a little attention to a team who just couldn’t quite get over the hump this year, Viginia Tech. Today, they had North Carolina against the ropes and couldn’t slam the door shut. This opitimizes the Hokies entire season. With so many close losses, they might just be the best team not to make the tournament considering some of the big wins they had. I guess it’s hard to feel bad for a team like this when they had so many chances to win games, but my Badgers had a very similar season. That is probably why I’m so empathetic. And guess what, when the Badgers played at VTech early on this year, Wisconsin won at the buzzer.Here are the top stories we linked you to today:
