Fitting Stafford, Schedule Preview, TO Disliked

The article below is an awesome account on whether or not Stafford will be the correct pick for the Lions at number 1. Like I said yesterday, it really isn’t up for discussion anymore if they will take him or not. There are some pros and cons to the quarterback from Georgia. This article points them out.

It’s Time, NHL Playoff Time

The title of the article says it all, “Kiss Loved Ones Goodbye.” It is NHL playoff time, and it all begins on Wednesday! You will have to bear with me as I exclaim constantly for the next month about how great the NHL playoffs are. There is no other sport to have so much excitement throughout the entire game, series, or playoffs. I am just disappointed 2009-nhl-playoffsthat my Wings aren’t playing on the west coast so we get those late games ending at around 2am et. In any case, what do we have to look forward to?

Well, I am far from an expert when in comes to the analysis of all these teams so I’ll leave it to the actual experts. I will say this, however. The NHL would do itself well to make the games more of an event than randomly happening at night. As a Puck Daddy article commenter said, it is too bad that the NHL didn’t decide to schedule games on the weekend to give people to see back-to-back games. Us fans will survive, however. Let the games begin. Versus will be covering games basically every night. The only thing I am upset about is that there are games that are spread apart by two off days. This was always one of the things that the NHL playoffs had over the NBA. Now we will have time to wait between games.

If you are too lazy to go over to NHL.com or click on the link at the bottom here is the schedule for the puck fans:
