Draft Overkill, Lions Narrow To Two, Jimmy Smith

Is there a draft overkill in society? That was more of a rhetorical question. During my research to find mock drafts I was surprised to find that it was relatively easy to find over 200 amateur mock drafts. Really? Well, next week when our analysis comes out we will see how pointless, or worthwhile, all these mock drafts are.

49ers’ Tickets, Lions’ Fans Boo, Freeman Overrated

The reason the article below is so great is because it is arguing that the 49ers will be back in San Francisco’s mind. It is a pretty detailed description why tickets will be hard to come by next year. I’m not saying I agree or disagree with this assessment, but I just found it amazing that someone took so much time to argue this point. This is why I love blogs, you would never hear this argument in national news.

Fitting Stafford, Schedule Preview, TO Disliked

The article below is an awesome account on whether or not Stafford will be the correct pick for the Lions at number 1. Like I said yesterday, it really isn’t up for discussion anymore if they will take him or not. There are some pros and cons to the quarterback from Georgia. This article points them out.

Stafford A Lion, Paulus a Packer, Witner Charged

Does anyone else really think that everyone is really thinking too much about the first pick of this year’s NFL draft? At this point, you can’t realistically think that the Lions are not taking Matthew Stafford. Whether it is the correct pick or not, it is going to happen. When we do our mock draft analysis we will see how many of you mockers thought too much and wanted to be “different” so you put down someone else.

Lions’ Needs, NFL Updates, Draft Prospect

I guess having the number one overall pick is kind of a big deal.  That’s why everyone in the NFL world must continue to keep talking about the Lions.  Therefore, here is an article examining the needs the Lions have.  Something tells me that the number one overall pick will not accomplish everything the team needs.  However, drafting a franchise player will at least get some fans back on board with the struggling franchise.

Lions Quiet, Apology Accepted, Pat White

It is pretty entertaining this year to try to discover what the Lions will do with their number 1 pick.  They could go so many ways with it.  As a Lions fan, it is so frustrating, however, that there isn’t just someone that is clearly the best pick!  Only the Lions could pick this year as their 1st pick year.
