NBA is a PG’s League, Derrick Rose, NBA/Celeb Gossip

Was there ever a question on which position in the NBA is the most important?  I mean, there has always been a fascination with big men so I guess one could think Power Forward or Center are the most important.  However, which position is the Quarterback of the offnse?  The point guard, obviously.  Experts in the NFL talk all the time about how important a QB is so it only makes sense that the PG is the most important position in the NBA.

-The NBA is a point guard’s league.  This confirms my opinion that the Wolves need to draft a good one (James Harden) in this year’s draft.

-Derrick Rose is Rookie of the Year.  No surprises there…

The WrapUp

The NBA playoffs are off and running with some great games thus far.  The one that surprised me most was Chicago @ Boston.  Not only was I shocked that the Bulls won, but I couldn’t believe a defensive minded team let a rookie score nearly 40 points.  It’s pretty obvious to me that without KG, Boston is in big trouble.  Their defense will always be worse without Garnett in the middle as he is a tremendous player and leader.  This leads me to think back to last season and want to give KG all the credit for making the Celtics champions.  Someone else better step up soon to set the tone on defense before they get bounced in the first round.
