Dan says:

• Another shout out to the Masters…  Today was the par 3 tourney and there was some pretty solid golf played considering no one wants to win the thing because of the “jinx.”  At any rate, Gary Player, who announced this would be his last time coming to Augusta to take part in the Masters festivities, holed out from the tee box on the last hole of the round.  Usually this would be called a hole in one; however, he had already plunked a ball in the water making the one he holed out his third shot from the tee.  Either way you look at it, it’s a memorable way for one of golf’s greatest to go out.  I’m glad I saw it live.

Scott says:

• Congratulations to the Columbus Blue Jackets for clinching a spot in the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. They’ve had a good year so far and have beaten some of the top teams in the league so who knows how far they can go. Even though nobody in Columbus probably realizes this has happened, I felt the need to tell the world because hey, if I don’t take care of my brothers, who will?
