• The NBA Eastern Conference is shaping up to be a race to the finish. And the Bobcats keep finding ways to compete with the top teams in the league. The Celtics barely escaped last night in double overtime, preventing Charlotte from beating the Lakers and Celtics in back to back nights. In any case, the standings show three teams working for the final two spots. The Pistons are in the seven spot.  Close on their tails is Chicago (1/2 game behind) and Charlotte (2 games behind). With the way the Pistons are playing, anything can happen. Every game counts down the stretch, and the Bobcats are the team that has shown they want it these past few days.
