More Fun With MLB Power Ranking Comments

This may become a weekly post because there is always something fun to mention when it comes to comments concerning power rankings. This week’s fun comes from Ginika and his post “OMG is it just me or is this guy bias for Rays.” Ooo, it has a nice mysterious ring to it right?

okay people honestly this guy put the Rays at #4 ahead of the yankess who are 1.5 games ahead of them in the standings…umm can i ask why plz?

Yes, you can, and thanks for asking so politely! Well, the power rankings are not based on the standings so can you give me a new argument plz?

and yes they have 6 games in a roww yea but Yankees have won 5 soo it makes no sense to put them ahead of yanks

Well, if we were going by that logic, the Rays are better right now correct? They have more in a row.

nd then when it comes to the Cardinals we just got Mark DeRosa and he drops ussss 7 spots in the rankings haha wow just cause of 2 games since the derosa trade haha..

Mark DeRosa hasn’t produced any wins haha so there’s no basis to say the Cardinals are better yet haha…

i wanna make a bet to anyone that after this week in the power rankings.. the cardinals will be ranked 8th and yankees will be ranked 4th or 3rd

Umm…okay, I’ll bet you I guess, that sounds like a fun guessing game. After reading this I really want the Cardinals to drop to like 16 next week just to see reactions. Maybe I’m weird, but it’s comments like these that makes me happy that I’m perfect and never say anything stupid!
