Mock Draft Analysis

draft

I mentioned yesterday how I was curious how accurate some of the mock drafts are for the NFL draft.  Well, we are making good on our curiousity by doing our own little study at the site.  After the draft, the plan is to analyze as many mock drafts that were out there right before the draft and see how right and wrong the people were.

“What can I do as a LinkedOnSports.com reader to help you?”

I am so glad you asked that! Over the next few weeks please send any and all mock drafts that you find on the internet. It can be your own site or one that you simply stumbled upon. The bigger the sample, the more valid the study will be. Email us with any that you find at email@linkedonsports.com.

The analysis will be published shortly after the NFL draft takes place! This study is the result of simple curiosity. If you submit your own site, be assured, we will not blast any individual mock draft. We will only be looking at the big picture. Thank you loyal readers!

  1. [...] For those of you who have visited us since the beginning,  you may have noticed that this was the first week without any major changes. In my mind, that’s a big step toward success. Yesterday was officially our one month anniversary and things have definitely changed each day. It’s been fun and busy, and it has been a little stressful. We have a few things in the works to make the site even better each week. So, be on the lookout next week for the start of weekly columns by yours truly and my partner Dan. We are also going to be test driving a podcast to see if a weekly podcast could work well. Those are just a few ideas on the horizon. In the meantime, have a great weekend, and be sure to send us any mock drafts you find. [...]

  2. [...] forget to email any stories you would like linked, and any mock drafts you want included in our study. Share and [...]
