Lemieux and Jagr, Danton on Parole, Kozlov Nominated

Could Mario Lemieux be back on skates soon?  If the reports are true, that is a very real possibility.  It’s tough to imagine how productive he would be at his age.  The combo of Lemieux and Jagr was great, but that was years ago.  Times change, and people get older.  I don’t see this being the thing to get the Penguins over the hump.

-Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr could be back on the ice together again.

-Mike Danton, sentenced to prison for plotting to kill his agent in 2004, is seeking full parole after being in jail for a while.

-Slava Kozlov was my favorite player back in the 90s.  It makes me happy to see he is up for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy.  It is given to the player who “best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.”
