Afternoon Delight

Linked on Basketball (NCAA Edition)

-This kid got screwed, and it seems like everyone know it too.

-I like that the Big East is including everyone in the tournament.  Why not give everyone a chance to make a crazy run?

-Here is the latest on the NCAA bubble watch.  Is your team going to get into the big dance?

-A breakdown of the NCAA before conference tournaments start.  Sparty better watch out for Bucky since the Badgers outplayed the Spartans for 35 minutes at the Brezlin a few weeks ago.

Linked on Football

-Well, at least the NFL would be okay after such an attack.  Stupid me thought they would be worried about the people. (Okay, I realize that from a business standpoint this makes sense)

-The winners and losers of free agency so far.

-Tampa Bay Linebacker Gino Hayes stabbed by his girlfriend.  Scissors to the head seems irrational during an argument.  He has been released and is doing fine.

-Drafting a QB number 1 is such a risk.  Why not take the absolute best player regardless of position if you are the Lions?

Linked on Baseball

-I was wondering what it took to play on a specific WBC team.  Hopefully you were curious as well

-MLB is not too excited about the upcoming season.

-More fun economy talk.  This time Seattle is losing money.

-These Orioles hats are actually going to be sold.  Like the author says, New Era has a sense of humor.  I don’t even like the Orioles, but I want one!

Linked on Hockey

-Gary Roberts, who has played for more than two decades, has retired.

-Steve Moore had the game of hockey taken away from him five years ago.  Now, his brother is having a career year, knowing nothing can be taken for granted.

-A view from NHL GM meetings during day 1 dealing with the players’ union.

-Some awesome hockey announcing
